(Almost) Time to Dig Out Those Skates
An enthusiastic team of Annexonian volunteers is ready and waiting for Mother Nature to cooperate with their plans to once again build a skating rink in John Sibelius Square Park. So far temperatures have not been consistently low enough to build the foundation ice despite a first attempt two weeks ago. Still, the necessary municipal permit is in hand and signs explaining COVID-related rules are already posted. To learn more about the history of the rink, check out the unofficial website of Toronto skating rinks at: http://www.cityrinks.ca/wiki/wiki.php?n=SibeliusRink.FrontPage
